Trying 'Kumru' Turkish Sandwich in Izmir 🇹🇷 I tried Kumru, a popular street food sandwich that you can find all over Izmir. "Kumru" means "Dove" in Turkish, and its shape resembles that bird. I found it to be a bit dry on my first bite, because as with any Turkish food they don't use any sauce, instead focusing on just using high quality ingredients.
